§ 5-33.2-21 Penalty for violations. –Any person, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, association orhis or her or its agents or representatives violating any of the provisions ofthis chapter, or of any rules or regulation of the division, is guilty of amisdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by imprisonment for notexceeding six (6) months, or by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars($500), or by both the fine and imprisonment, within the discretion of thecourt.
