SECTION 5-34-10

   § 5-34-10  Qualifications of professionalnurse applicants. – An applicant for licensure to practice as a professional nurse shall submit tothe board written evidence on forms furnished by the division of professionalregulation, verified by oath, that the applicant:

   (1) Has completed at least an approved high school course ofstudy or the equivalent supported by diploma or certificate of the course ofstudy as determined by the rules and regulations of the state board ofeducation;

   (2) Has successfully completed the prescribed curriculum inan approved basic professional nursing education program and holds a diplomafrom the program; and

   (3) Is of good moral character.
