SECTION 5-35.1-16

   § 5-35.1-16  Minimum examination ofpatient. – Every person practicing optometry in accordance with the laws of this stateshall, prior to prescribing eyeglasses, lenses or spectacles make a minimumexamination of the patient to determine existent visual defects and proceduresfor their correction. The degree of that minimum examination shall be definedin the rules and regulations of the department.
