SECTION 5-37.3-6.3

   § 5-37.3-6.3  Exceptions. – (a) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to interfere with the rights toconfrontation and compulsory process secured to a defendant in a criminalprosecution pursuant to the state and federal constitutions.

   (b) This chapter shall not be construed to interfere with anyfederal laws or regulations which provide more extensive protection thanprovided in this chapter for the confidentiality of health care information.
