SECTION 5-44-21

   § 5-44-21  Penalty for violations. –(a) It is a misdemeanor for any person, in offering his or her services to thepublic, to:

   (1) Use in connection with his or her name any designationtending to imply that he or she is a psychologist, or any description ofservices tending to imply that he or she is engaged in the practice ofpsychology or to render services defined as the practice of psychology, unlesslicensed or exempted under the provisions of this chapter;

   (2) Use in connection with his or her name any designationtending to imply that he or she is a psychologist, or to render servicesdefined as the practice of psychology, during the time his or her licenseissued under the provision of this chapter is suspended or revoked;

   (3) Otherwise violate any of the provisions of this chapteror the rules and regulations promulgated hereunder.

   (b) All these misdemeanors shall be punishable by a fine ofnot more than five hundred dollars ($500) for each offense.
