§ 5-48.1-5 Sanctions. – In addition to any penalty provided by this chapter for violation of theprovisions of § 5-48.1-3, noncompliance and/or violation of the provisionsof this chapter or the regulations adopted under it shall constitute grounds torevoke or suspend the license of, or discipline, a licensed health careprovider, or to deny an application for licensure. The appropriate licensingagency or body has authority to take this action against a licensee orapplicant in accordance with established procedures.
