SECTION 5-49-16

   § 5-49-16  Board – Duties. – (a) The board shall:

   (1) Advise the department in all matters relating to thischapter;

   (2) Prepare the examinations required by this chapter for thedepartment; and

   (3) Assist the department in carrying out the provisions ofthis chapter.

   (b) The department shall be guided by the recommendations ofthe board in all matters relating to this chapter.
