SECTION 5-5.1-22

   § 5-5.1-22  Insurance requirements. –A licensee of a private security guard business shall file with the attorneygeneral a certificate of insurance evidencing comprehensive general liabilitycoverage for bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage withendorsements for assault and battery and personal injury, including falsearrest, libel, slander, and invasion of privacy, in the minimum amount of threehundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for bodily or personal injury and onehundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for property damage. A licensee shall alsofile endorsements for damage to property in their care, custody and control andfor errors and omissions. The certificate shall provide that the insuranceshall not be modified or cancelled unless thirty (30) days prior notice isgiven to the attorney general. A licensee must be insured by a carrier licensedin this state.
