SECTION 5-57-19

   § 5-57-19  Grounds for denial ofapplications. – The licensing authority may deny the application for an alarm business licenseif it finds that the applicant or the individual having the authority and theresponsibility for the management and operation of the applicant's alarmbusiness within the state or the individual whom the applicant relies upon tocomply with subsection (c) or (f) of § 5-57-16 or any of the applicant'sowners, partners or principal corporate officers have:

   (1) Committed any act, which, if committed by a licensee,would be grounds for the revocation of a license under § 5-57-25(a);

   (2) While unlicensed, knowingly and willfully committed oraided and abetted in the commission of any act for which a license is requiredby this chapter; or

   (3) Been convicted in any jurisdiction of the United Statesof a felony or a misdemeanor if the licensing authority finds that theconviction reflects unfavorably on the fitness of the applicant to engage inthe alarm business.
