SECTION 5-65.1-8

   § 5-65.1-8  Reciprocity. – Upon payment to the board of the requisite fee and submission of a completedapplication approved by the board, the board shall issue a home inspectorlicense to any person who:

   (1) Holds a valid license issued by another state orpossession of the United States or the District of Columbia, which hasstandards substantially equivalent to those of this state as determined by theboard; or

   (2) Is licensed in this state as a state certified realestate appraiser or to practice architecture or professional engineering,provided the person meets the requirements set forth in subdivisions (a)(1),(a)(2), and (a)(4) of § 5-65.1-4.
