SECTION 5-65-20

   § 5-65-20  Administrative hearings. –(a) Contested claims or cases, contested enforcement proceedings, and contestedadministrative fines shall be heard, in accordance with the AdministrativeProcedures Act, chapter 35 of title 42, and the administrative regulationspromulgated by the board, by the hearings officer(s) assigned by the executivedirector of the board.

   (b) The board has jurisdiction to hear appeals from decisionsof the hearing officer(s), and may by regulation impose a filing fee, not toexceed twenty dollars ($20.00), for any appeal.

   (c) Notwithstanding the preceding, the executive director forthe board is authorized to resolve contested enforcement or claim proceedingsthrough informal disposition pursuant to regulations promulgated by the board.
