SECTION 8-16-6.1

   § 8-16-6.1  Suspension of judge pendingreview. – Whenever the supreme court reviews a commission recommendation for thesuspension, immediate temporary suspension, removal, or retirement of a judgeother than a justice of the supreme court, the commission may, in itsdiscretion, order the suspension of the judge pending the completion of thereview. The suspension shall be without loss of compensation.
