SECTION 8-5-7

§ 8-5-7 Appropriations for court reportersand electronic court reporters. – The general assembly shall annually appropriate such sum as it may deemnecessary to compensate the stenographers, court reporters, and electroniccourt reporters and similar recording personnel for their services; and thestate controller is hereby authorized and directed to draw his or her orderupon the general treasurer for the payment of that sum, or so much thereof asmay be necessary for that purpose, upon vouchers approved by the clerk of thesuperior court for the counties of Providence and Bristol.
