SECTION 9-2-18

   § 9-2-18  Acceleration of actions whenparty 65 or older. – Any civil action in which a plaintiff or a defendant has attained the age ofsixty-five (65) years, and is not a corporation, partnership, association, orother such entity, shall be accelerated to trial at the request of the party.This section shall not be construed so as to preclude reasonable discovery.
