SECTION 9-3-13

§ 9-3-13 Notice of lessor's lien. –The lien provided in § 9-3-12 shall be effective only if a written noticecontaining the name and address of the owner, the date of the accident, and thename and address of the lessor shall be mailed, postage prepaid, to theinsurance carrier insuring against the loss prior to the payment of any moneyto the owner, his or her representative, or assignee in compensation for thedamage or loss.
