SECTION 9-9-7

   § 9-9-7  Assistants and expenses of office.– (a) The jury commissioner may, with the consent in writing of the presidingjustice, from time to time appoint and remove an associate jury commissioner,an assistant jury commissioner, and such clerks, stenographers, andinvestigators, and may incur such office and traveling expenses, as shall benecessary for the proper discharge of the duties of his or her office.

   (b) The associate jury commissioner and the assistant jurycommissioner may discharge all of the duties of the jury commissionerappointing them and an act done by them shall have the same force and effect asthough done by the jury commissioner.
