Sec. 18-63. Commitment for failure to pay fine. Upon any conviction for a crime,
if the convict fails to pay any fine lawfully imposed, he shall be committed to a community correctional center until such fine is paid.

      History: 1963 act deleted provision that sentences to jail and workhouse be interchangeable, the term "workhouse"
having been abolished; 1969 act replaced jails with community correctional centers.
