§  1001.  Annual  report  of abandoned property.   1. On or before the  first day of October in each year every public and  private  corporation  holding or owing any abandoned property specified in section ten hundred  shall  make  a  verified  written report to the state comptroller, which  shall contain a true and accurate statement, as of the first day of July  next preceding, of all such abandoned property, held or owing by it.    2. Such report shall be in such form  as  the  state  comptroller  may  prescribe  and shall set forth the title of the proceeding, the name and  last known address of the awardee if such  award  is  made  to  a  known  owner, the date of confirmation, the damage parcel number, the amount of  the  award,  and  the  amount  of  any  interest  due  thereon and, if a  deduction is claimed for liens by a public corporation, the  nature  and  amount of such liens and any interest claimed thereon.
