§  471.  Retirement subject to revocation of governor.  The retirement  of a guard or employee, pursuant to this article, shall  be  subject  at  any time to revocation by the governor, who shall serve a notice of such  revocation  on  the  commissioner  of  correction,  and  thereupon  such  retirement and all payments on account thereof shall  cease.  Upon  such  revocation  such  guard  or  employee  shall be entitled to reassume his  duties in the state prison or reformatory, or department, from which  he  was retired at the salary or compensation received by him at the time of  retirement.
