§ 990-b. Definitions. As used in this article:    (a) "Municipal theme district" shall mean a geographic area designated  by  a  county,  city,  town or village, pursuant to section nine hundred  ninety-d of this article, to be a theme  district  for  the  purpose  of  promoting,  advancing  or  coordinating  an  approved  theme pursuant to  section nine hundred ninety-c of this article.    (b) "Theme district board" shall mean the board of  directors  of  the  theme   district,  appointed  by  the  county,  city,  town  or  village  establishing the district, and responsible for  the  administration  and  operation of the district.
