§  2602. Rebates on life insurance; witnesses' immunity. (a) No person  shall knowingly receive any rebate or allowance or  deduction  from  any  premium,  or any valuable thing, special favor or advantage whatever not  specified in the policy, as an inducement to take  any  policy  of  life  insurance.    (b)  In  any  criminal proceeding before any court or grand jury for a  violation of this section, the court or grand jury may  confer  immunity  in  accordance  with  the  provisions  of section 50.20 or 190.40 of the  criminal procedure law.
