§  1020-jj.  Severability. The provisions of this title are severable,  and if any part or provision hereof, or the application thereof  to  any  person  or  circumstance,  shall  be  adjudged by any court of competent  jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable,  such  judgment  shall  not  affect,  impair  or  invalidate  the  remainder  of  this  title  or the  application of such provision to any other person or  circumstance,  but  shall  be  confined  in  its  operation  to  the  provision,  person  or  circumstance directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment  shall have been rendered.
