§   1782.   Title   not  affected  if  one  part  unconstitutional  or  ineffective.  If a clause, sentence, paragraph,  part  or  provision  of  this  title  shall  for  any  reason be adjudged by a court of competent  jurisdiction  to  be  unconstitutional,  ineffective  or  invalid,   the  judgment  shall  not  affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of this  title, but shall be confined in its operation to the  clause,  sentence,  paragraph,   part   or   provision  thereof  directly  involved  in  the  controversy in which the judgment shall have been rendered.
