Virginia‑NorthCarolina Interstate High‑Speed Rail Compact.

§ 136‑220.  Compactestablished.

Pursuant to the invitation in49 U.S.C. § 24101 (Interstate Compacts), in which the United States Congressgrants consent to states with an interest in a specific form, route, orcorridor of intercity passenger rail service (including high‑speed railservice) to enter into interstate compacts, there is hereby established theVirginia‑North Carolina Interstate High‑Speed Rail Compact.
