§ 143‑260.7. Purpose.

It is the purpose of this Article to prescribe the conditions andprocedures under which properties may be specially dedicated for the purposesenumerated by Article XIV, Sec. 5 of the North Carolina Constitution("Conservation of Natural Resources"), accepted by the GeneralAssembly for said purposes, and thereby constituted part of the State Natureand Historic Preserve.
