<br><br>15.360 Certification of police instructors. <br>(1) The Kentucky Law Enforcement Council shall have the power to certify police <br>instructors and to recertify the same. Said certifications shall be done pursuant to <br>regulations issued by the council for the purpose of assuring high quality police <br>instructors in the Commonwealth. Said regulations may include but are not limited <br>to: <br>(a) The level of formal or other training possessed by the instructor; <br>(b) The work-related background of the instructor; <br>(c) The personal background of the instructor with regard to absence of past <br>criminal record; and <br>(d) Other such matters as the council may deem to be necessary to insure high <br>quality police instruction for the Commonwealth. <br>(2) The council shall make no charges for certification as a police instructor. <br>Effective: April 1, 1982 <br>History: Amended 1982 Ky.
