<br><br> <br>Page 1 of 1 <br>17.180 Automated fingerprint identification system. <br>(1) The Department of Kentucky State Police shall design, implement, and maintain an <br>automated fingerprint identification system. <br>(2) The automated fingerprint identification system shall be compatible with any <br>similar system required by the federal government for inclusion of state information <br>in federal criminal justice databases. <br>(3) The Commonwealth shall provide and maintain in every detention center the <br>automated fingerprint identification system equipment and programs required by the <br>Department of Kentucky State Police through administrative regulation. <br>Effective: June 26, 2007 <br>History: Amended 2007 Ky.
