<br><br>18A.2253 Self-insurance for area development district employees. <br>Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS 18A.225, the area development districts may <br>jointly establish an employee benefit fund to provide for self-insurance of all risks in the <br>provision of benefits for district employees comparable to those that may be paid under a <br>policy or contract procured by the secretary of Finance and Administration Cabinet as <br>provided in KRS 18A.225(2). <br>Effective: July 14, 1992 <br>History: Created 1992 Ky.
