<br><br>38.140 Enlisted man, discharge of -- Discharge papers. <br>(1) An enlisted man shall not be discharged before the expiration of his term of service <br>except by order of the Governor or by sentence of court-martial approved by the <br>Governor. A soldier upon his discharge from service, shall be given a certificate of <br>discharge or report of separation from service. <br>(2) The types of discharges used shall be the same as those authorized by the National <br>Guard Bureau. <br>History: Amended 1962 Ky.
