<br><br>45A.805 Legislative findings of policy. <br>(1) The General Assembly finds and declares it to be the policy of the Commonwealth <br>of Kentucky to: <br>(a) Insure the fair and equitable treatment of all firms interested in providing <br>architectural, engineering, or engineering-related services to the <br>Commonwealth; <br>(b) Announce publicly all requirements for architectural, engineering, and <br>engineering-related services; and <br>(c) Award a contract for architectural, engineering, or engineering-related <br>services to the best firm, qualified to perform the work on a project, on the <br>basis of demonstrated competence and qualification for the type of <br>professional services required and at fair and reasonable prices. <br>Effective: April 3, 1998 <br>History: Amended 1998 Ky.
