<br><br>61.380 Certain counties may pay attendance expenses of officers at conferences, <br>meetings or hearings -- Statement of expenses to be filed. <br>(1) In any county containing a city of the first class, the members of the fiscal court and <br>any of its employees, the county judge/executive and county attorney and his <br>assistants, when duly authorized by a majority vote of the fiscal court of such <br>county, may attend conferences, meetings, legislative or judicial hearings upon <br>matters pertaining to county government or to the county's business, and the <br>expenses of such attendance shall be borne and paid out of the county levy in the <br>manner provided by such authorization. <br>(2) Before any such expenses are so paid by the fiscal court, the attendant at any such <br>meeting, conference or hearing shall, within ten (10) days after his return therefrom <br>file with the fiscal court an itemized statement of all expenses incurred by him, and <br>such statement shall be a public record and spread at large upon the minute book of <br>such court. <br>History: Created 1952 Ky.
