<br><br>61.699 System's ability to require statements under oath. <br>(1) Any person, including, but not limited to, members and agency reporting officials, <br>who makes a statement, report, or representation, shall, at the request of the system, <br>make the statement, report, or representation under oath with an acknowledgment <br>that a false statement, report, or representation shall be punishable by law. <br>(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1) of this section, the system may, in its discretion, <br>rely in good faith on any unsworn statement, report, or representation without <br>further inquiry. <br>Effective: July 15, 1996 <br>History: Amended 1996 Ky.
