<br><br>62.155 Sheriff's general obligation bonds and state revenue bond, state to pay <br>premiums on. <br>With the exception of the sheriff's county levy bond, and with the exception of those <br>bonds upon which the premium is now paid by the state or county, each sheriff shall have <br>a valid claim against the state for the amounts paid by him for premiums on the bonds <br>required of him by law, when the bonds have been executed by an incorporated surety <br>company authorized to do a surety business in Kentucky, and when the claims are verified <br>by the sheriff's affidavit. This section is intended to supersede subsection (1) of KRS <br>62.140 with respect to sheriffs whose fees are paid into the State Treasury. <br>Effective: June 19, 1958 <br>History: Amended 1958 Ky.
