<br><br>65.650 Commitments of authority to the United States to improve navigability. <br>(1) Any riverport authority created pursuant to KRS 65.510 to 65.650 may make <br>commitments to the United States to provide certain specific minimum facilities <br>and to provide spoilage areas when such commitments are necessary to obtain the <br>assistance of the United States in improving the navigability of any river. <br>(2) Any such commitments made pursuant to this section shall be with the approval of <br>the appointing authority. <br>History: Created 1964 Ky.
