<br><br>67.745 Persons serving as county judge/executive during emergency -- How long. <br>Any of the persons designated herein to serve in the line of succession to the county <br>judge/executive during such state of emergency shall occupy and serve in the office of <br>county judge/executive: <br>(1) Only until, if and when, the regular county judge/executive should return to the <br>county from absence during the emergency or should recover from disability; or <br>(2) Until the Governor of the Commonwealth is able to make an appointment of a <br>successor to the regular county judge/executive; or <br>(3) Until the termination of the state of emergency, whichever should occur soonest. <br>Effective: January 2, 1978 <br>History: Created 1976 (1st Extra.
