<br><br> <br>Page 1 of 1 <br>67.920 Redistricting of unified local government legislative districts. <br>(1) If the unification plan of a unified local government provides for election of <br>legislative council members by legislative district, the legislative council may defer <br>redistricting of legislative districts, subsequent to each decennial census by the <br>United States Bureau of Census, until after completion of the redistricting of <br>General Assembly seats within the unified local government after that census. <br>(2) The redistricting of unified local government legislative districts under this section <br>shall be effective for the first regular unified local government primary election <br>scheduled more than one hundred eighty (180) days after completion of the <br>redistricting, but, in no event shall the redistricting become effective later than two <br>(2) years after release of the census data upon which the redistricting is based. <br>Effective: July 12, 2006 <br>History: Created 2006 Ky.
