<br><br>67A.825 Procedure when project cannot be completed according to KRS 67A.710 <br>to 67A.820. <br>If an urban-county government has taken any steps under KRS 67A.710 to 67A.820 to <br>provide for, construct or finance any improvements allowed to be undertaken by the <br>provisions of KRS 67A.710 to 67A.820, and for any reason the project cannot be <br>completed according to the provisions of KRS 67A.710 to 67A.820, the governing body <br>may: <br>(1) Abandon the project, in which case all prepayments shall be returned. Any interest <br>earned on prepayments may also be returned or retained and applied to any cost <br>resulting from the effort to complete the project. <br>(2) The governing body may proceed in any manner authorized by law, to complete the <br>project. In this case all prepayments and any interest earned shall be returned on a <br>pro rata basis. <br>Effective: June 21, 1974 <br>History: Created 1974 Ky.
