<br><br> <br>Page 1 of 1 <br>67C.400 Definitions for KRS 67C.400 to 67C.418. <br>As used in KRS 67C.400 to 67C.418: <br>(1) "Cabinet" means the Kentucky Labor Cabinet; <br>(2) "Labor organization" means any chartered labor organization of any kind in which <br>police officers participate and which exists for the primary purpose of dealing with <br>consolidated local governments concerning grievances, labor disputes, wages, rate <br>of pay, hours of employment, or conditions of employment; <br>(3) "Exclusive representative" means the labor organization which has been designated <br>by the cabinet as the representative of the majority of police officers in appropriate <br>units or has been so recognized by the consolidated local government; <br>(4) "Person" includes one (1) or more individuals, labor organizations, associations, <br>corporations, legal representatives, trustees, trustees in bankruptcy, or receivers; and <br>(5) "Secretary" means the secretary of the Labor Cabinet of the Commonwealth of <br>Kentucky. <br>Effective: July 15, 2010 <br>History: Amended 2010 Ky.
