<br><br>71.110 Office of jailer consolidated with office of sheriff in county containing a <br>consolidated local government, city of the first class, or an urban-county <br>government. <br>The offices of sheriff and jailer in counties containing a consolidated local government, a <br>city of the first class, or an urban-county government shall be consolidated, but the office <br>of sheriff shall be retained; and the sheriff hereafter in such counties shall perform the <br>duties of jailer. <br>Effective: July 15, 2002 <br>History: Amended 2002 Ky.
