<br><br>74.280 Additions may be acquired. <br>(1) Any water district may construct or acquire, and operate, within or without the <br>district, additions, extensions, and all necessary appurtenances to the water system, <br>the cost of which may not be assessed as a local benefit, for the purpose of <br>supplying the water district with water. <br>(2) One (1) or more of such additions, extensions, or appurtenances owned by one (1) <br>or more persons may be acquired as a single enterprise, and the commission may <br>agree with the owner as to the value thereof and purchase the same at that value. <br>Effective: October 1, 1942 <br>History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
