<br><br> <br>Page 1 of 1 <br>78.606 Service credit earned upon retirement of noncertified employee -- <br>Recalculation of benefits. <br>(1) Upon retirement, a noncertified employee shall have his service credit earned after <br>July 1, 1998, recalculated in accordance with KRS 78.615 except that the employee <br>shall receive service credit determined by dividing the actual number of contracted <br>days worked by twenty (20) and rounding any remainder to the next whole month, <br>provided that the number of hours worked during the period averages eighty (80) or <br>more hours. <br>(2) The Kentucky Retirement Systems shall adjust the service credit for all affected <br>members who earned service credit for the school years 1996-97 and 1997-98 by <br>recomputing the members' service based on the rounding method provided in <br>subsection (1) of this section. <br>Effective: July 15, 2002 <br>History: Amended 2002 Ky.
