<br><br>78.990 Penalties. <br>Any person who shall knowingly violate any of the provisions of KRS 78.400 to 78.460 <br>shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not <br>less than fifty dollars ($50) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by <br>imprisonment for a term not to exceed six (6) months or by both such fine and <br>imprisonment and if such person be an applicant for any employment covered hereby, he <br>shall be excluded from such examination for a period of three (3) years thereafter and if <br>the name of such person be on any eligible list of the said board, his name shall be <br>removed therefrom and if he be an officer or employee of the county, he shall be removed <br>forthwith therefrom and be ineligible for any such appointment to public office or <br>employment for a period of three (3) years thereafter. <br>History: Created 1952 Ky.
