<br><br>81.045 City identity documents to be filed with the Secretary of State -- Effect of <br>noncompliance. <br>In order to update the record of incorporation of cities in the Secretary of State's office, <br>every city presently operating as a public corporation and a unit of local government shall <br>file with the Secretary of State within one (1) year from July 15, 1980, a document listing <br>the name of the city, the year of its incorporation, the present classification and the <br>present boundaries. If a city fails to comply with this section, it shall be barred from <br>receiving state moneys until such time as the city complies. <br>Effective: July 15, 1980 <br>History: Created 1980 Ky.
