<br><br>82.710 Requirements for local government nuisance code. <br>Any local government electing to enact a nuisance code and enforce violations of the <br>nuisance code as civil violations shall enact an ordinance or ordinances which: <br>(1) Establish the acts, actions, behavior, or conditions which constitute violations; <br>(2) Establish reasonable standards and procedures for the enforcement of the nuisance <br>code; <br>(3) Provide for the establishment of a hearing board and hearing officers and the <br>procedures to be followed by the hearing board and hearing officers; <br>(4) Delegate responsibility for enforcement of the nuisance code to an agency or <br>department of the local government; and <br>(5) Establish penalties to be imposed upon persons determined to have violated the <br>nuisance code. <br>Effective: July 14, 1992 <br>History: Created 1992 Ky.
