<br><br>90.390 Prohibition of political activity. <br>(1) No person shall be appointed to any position because of political partisan service <br>rendered by him or his family, or because of political sentiment or affiliation, nor <br>shall any person be dismissed or reduced in grade because of any political opinion. <br>(2) No employee of a city of the second class shall coerce or persuade another, or in any <br>way actively participate in any election, or cause others to do so. <br>Effective: October 1, 1942 <br>History: Recodified 1942 Ky.
