<br><br>95.630 Group life insurance, police and fire departments. <br>(1) The legislative bodies of cities of the second and third classes or urban-county <br>governments may, by ordinance, form the members of the police and fire <br>departments into groups to obtain the advantages of the group plan of life insurance. <br>(2) The legislative bodies may aid the members of the police and fire departments by <br>paying from city funds not to exceed fifty percent (50%) of the annual premiums on <br>the policies, and may contract with the insurer on such other terms as may be <br>provided for in the ordinance. <br>History: Amended 1974 Ky.
